Terms of Service
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of solveth.app, solveth.io, and — as each launches — the Poise, Tend, and Marquee apps (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Solveth LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Solveth," "we," "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.
2. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. By using the Services, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. What the Services do
Solveth is the company behind a suite of apps designed to notice what matters in your day-to-day life and hand you something ready to act on — you always decide whether to act. Nothing the Services suggest is sent, posted, purchased, or otherwise executed without your explicit approval.
- Poise — real-time coaching for hair styling via your device's front camera.
- Tend — a relationship-focused assistant, private by default, that helps you stay in touch with the people who matter to you.
- Marquee — tracks artists you follow and prices out attending their shows.
Each Service may have additional terms specific to it, which will be presented within that app.
4. Your account
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. The approve-to-act principle
This is core to how the Services work, not just a policy: the Services may draft, suggest, or prepare an action, but nothing with a real-world effect — sending a message, placing an order, booking something, or any similar action — happens without you explicitly tapping to approve it. We built the Services this way on purpose, and this principle isn't something we plan to quietly change; if that ever needs to change for a specific feature, we'll call it out clearly, not bury it in an update.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users' accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services, except where applicable law permits it
- Use the Services to harass, stalk, or harm another person
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without our written consent
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Certain features of the Services require a paid subscription. Specific pricing is shown in each app at the time of purchase and may change with notice. Unless stated otherwise:
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law or explicitly stated at purchase.
- Payment is processed by Stripe; use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including their design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, are owned by Solveth LLC or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to Solveth's trademarks, logos, or brand assets. You retain ownership of content you create or provide through the Services; by providing it, you grant Solveth a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Services for you.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Poise provides styling coaching, not medical, dermatological, or health advice — consult a qualified professional for any medical concern. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solveth's total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Solveth harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue a Service (or all Services) with reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes, we'll provide more prominent notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
